Hey, folks, not sure if you saw this, but the Mattel company, the maker of Barbie, recently launched a doll named Chelsea, who has scoliosis and wears an orthopedic brace! I think this initiative by the brand is fantastic because we know how little scoliosis is generally addressed. The scoliosis squad is grateful!!!!
This is the world's first doll with scoliosis, featuring shoulder/waist imbalance and a pronounced curvature in the spine, along with wearing a 3D brace. I felt included! lol...
I hope to see scoliosis represented more and more by major brands, so awareness gains more strength worldwide!
